Awareness programme on HIV/AIDS on Dec 1

New Delhi: In order to create awareness on mass campaign on HIV/AIDS, Missions 3G-Gauri has joined hands with Health Fitness Trust as CSR Partner to organise an event here on December 1.

The Health Fitness Trust is organizing the event in collaboration with the Word Health Organization (WHO) to exhibit its social responsibility and send a positive message for society. Other support partners are ONGC, Indian Oil, LG along with Parwaz Media Vision.

As many as 3000 participants will be flagged off for a three km awareness run at 10:30 am from Gandhi Darshan Raj Ghat by Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Health Minister Delhi, Kiran Walia, Dr Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and DPCC spokesperson Jitender Kochar, while WHO representatives will give a message on the occasion.

Giving further information about the event, Missions 3G-Gauri president Sanjjeev Nehraa said the campaign would send a message of positive health, fitness, well being and encourage the children and youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and build a safe secure environment.

The event will also have progammes including the theme messages by the dignitaries, thematic show on HIV/AIDS by Song & Drama Division, I&B Ministry, Inter School Poster Competition, HIV testing & counselling, besides a seminar on “HIV/AIDS & Human Rights”.

Among the event participants are from Rapid Action Force (RAF), ITBP, Indian Coast Guard, NCC, Scouts, Delhi Police, NGOs, Govt & Public Schools, Directorate of Education Delhi Colleges, Delhi Health Services, DSACS, SPYM, Jamia Hamdard University, St John Ambulance Delhi Brigade, AIDS Health Care Foundation, Delhi Pradesh Congress Human Rights Committee, Song & Drama Division, I &B Ministry, Senior Citizen Associations, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Positive Networking people, Doctors and Physical Educationists.
