New Delhi: Delhi BJP has asked the heads of its various units to start preparations for the Assembly polls to ensure that the party forms the next government in the capital.

Office-bearers of BJP's district and mandal units, Mahila Morcha, SC Morcha and Minority Morcha today held a meeting to discuss preparations about the elections.

Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay has directed leaders of the Mahila Morcha to apprise women about the relief given by the Centre in the form of exemption of income tax, decline in inflation and reduction in the price of petrol.

Meanwhile, party's Minority Morcha president Atif Rasheed accused Aam Aadmi Party of trying to "vitiate" the peaceful atmosphere of the city.

"We will have to apprise the minority people that there is complete peace in the states where BJP governments are functioning and the Minority Community is also progressing economically," Rasheed said.

The party has told office-bearers of the SC Morcha that there is greater responsibility on them. "It is the responsibility of the SC Morcha office-bearers that they fulfil the expectations of this community. Their problems should be solved with the help the central government," said a senior BJP leader.
