BJP confident of winning Delhi despite exit poll predictions: Satish Upadhyay

New Delhi: BJP Delhi unit head Satish Upadhyay on Sunday exuded confidence that his party will form the next government in the capital despite the exit poll predictions.

"We did an analysis of all constituencies in Delhi, BJP will form government under the leadership of its CM candidate Kiran Bedi," Upadhyay told reporters.

He said that the party would not comment on the prediction made by the exit polls, but the BJP is confident that its government will be formed in Delhi.

After a reasonably high voter turnout in the national capital for the Assembly polls, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was tipped to be winning with majority, while BJP finishing a close second and rout for the Congress party.

Over 67 percent of votes were cast on the day of polling in Delhi.

The results will be out on February 10.
