New Delhi: A BJP delegation led by Delhi
Pradesh president Vijender Gupta on Monday met VK Shunglu
committee probing CWG corruption and demanded completion of
the enquiry within given time frame and recommendation of
stern punishment against all involved in the scam.

The team which included leaders like Madan Lal
Khurana, Mange Ram Garg, Ashis Sood and Pravesh Verma asked
him to make the intereim report public so that people of the
country can know the truth.

The BJP leaders also submitted documents related to 10
prominent bunglings to him which held Chief Minister Sheila
Dikshit responsible for giving contracts to her `favourite`
firms and `wasting` SC welfare funds on the Games.

According to BJP Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit awarded
a contract of 160 crore for streetscaping to her favourite
firm Satya Prakash and Sons which did a substandard job as the
entire streetscaping works vanished within a month during the
Games only.

It also alleged that Delhi Chief Minister diverted RS
700 crore of SC welfare Fund to the Games which was again a
violation rule as according to the charter of SC SUB-PLAN the
money was non-transferable.

This wastage of SC welfare Fund was also accepted by
Home Minister P Chidambara, BJP claimed.

As the party thinks corruption of this scale could not
have taken place without active collusion of the people at top
level, the probe panel should ask the Ministers of all
Ministries linked with CWG corruption to step down.

V K Shunglu assured the delegation to carry on the
probe with all trust with which the committee have been
assigned the work of enquiry, BJP claimed.
