BJP MLAs, councillors will ensure toilet, drinking water in schools in Delhi

BJP MLAs and municipal councillors in Delhi will adopt one school and one jhuggi cluster each in their respective areas and ensured that toilets are built and drinking water facilities installed there.

New Delhi: BJP MLAs and municipal councillors in Delhi will adopt one school and one jhuggi cluster each in their respective areas and ensured that toilets are built and drinking water facilities installed there.

"Taking initiative on the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the ramparts of the Red Fort yesterday, all BJP MLAs and councillors shall adopt one school and one jhuggi cluster of their area and get toilets constructed and water ATM installed from the Legislator and Councillor funds available for the rest this financial year," Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay said in a statement.
Meanwhile, congratulating MLA Sardar R P Singh for being appointed as BJP National Secretary, Upadhyay said he always works with new energy in various activities of the party.
Upadhyay also offered his good wishes to Anil Jain, MP Meenakshi Lekhi, M J Akbar, Dushyant Kumar Gautam, Abdul Rasheed Ansari and Arun Kumar Jain from Delhi state on their reappointment in party posts.
