Blazing sun singes Delhi

Delhiites had to sweat it out under a blazing sun today as stepping out proved to be a tough job in the heat even though the day temperature settled one notch below normal at 38.6 degrees Celsius in the city.

New Delhi: Delhiites had to sweat it out under a blazing sun on Saturday as stepping out proved to be a tough job in the heat even though the day temperature settled one notch below normal at 38.6 degrees Celsius in the city.

The national capital woke to bright sunshine this morning with the minimum temperature settling at 24.8 degrees, two notches below normal.
Humidity in air oscillated between 27 and 64 per cent.

The maximum yesterday was recorded at 39.2 degrees in the city while the minimum was at 26.5 degrees.
The MeT department has predicted mainly clear skies tomorrow with the mercury expected to touch the 40-degree mark while the minimum is expected to be around 25 degrees.
