New Delhi: A blind couple were strangulated
to death at their residence in the Capital today with police
suspecting the hand of their two tenants who are missing.
The victims were identified as Rajender Verma (52) and
his wife Sudha(50), residents of Vivek Vihar, a senior police
official said.
"Both of them were blind. They were strangled," the
official said.
Investigators suspect the involvement of their two
tenants, who started living in their house a week ago and have
gone missing.
"A hunt is on to nab them. We don't know the motive
behind the crime," the official said.
Police are also trying to ascertain if any articles or
cash are missing from the house.
