New Delhi: A bomb scare at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday triggered panic forcing the authorities to ground several flights.

According to reports, Kathmandu-bound Nepal Airlines and Bhubaneswar-bound Air India flights were grounded after a bomb threat call was received by the airport authorities.

IGI Airport's Gurgaon-based call centre received a call claiming bomb on the Kathmandu-bound Nepal Airlines and Bhubaneswar-bound Air India flight.

Both flights - Nepal Airlines RA 206 and Air India 075 – were immediately taken to isolation for security check.

According to ANI, at least four Member of Parliament were also onboard the Air India flight.

However, all passengers are reported to be completely safe.

As a precautionary measure, the airport authorities have halted all flight operations till a security clearance is given.

A bomb disposal squad is also there and massive frisking is being done at the moment.
