The minimum temperature was recorded at 13.8 degrees
Celsius, normal for this time of the year. Yesterday, the low
was at 13 degrees Celsius.

The Weather Office predicted similar weather
conditions for tomorrow with temperature oscillating between
15 and 28 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, the maximum was recorded
at 27.2 degrees Celsius.

According to the weather office, the mean temperature
for the month of March is 15.4 degrees Celsius (minimum) and
30 degrees (maximum). In the last 11 years, the minimum had
dropped below only in 2001 and 2003.

The lowest minimum in March last year was recorded on
eighth (14.3 degrees Celsius), while the highest maximum was
recorded on 22nd (39.2 degrees Celsius). Last year`s maximum
was the highest in the past 11 years.

The record minimum for the month was on March 6, 1945,
when the mercury slid to 4.4 degree Celsius, while the maximum
peaked to 40.6 degrees on March 31, 1945.

The first week of February saw the temperatures rise
well above normal level, but then a spell of rain brought the
mercury down, slightly delaying the onset of summer.
