New Delhi: The capital woke up to a bright, sunny Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling a notch below normal at 26.8 degrees Celsius.
The met department predicts yet another hot day ahead.
"Today, we should see mainly clear skies with an expected maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius," an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told reporters.
Early morning humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 23 percent.
Monday`s maximum and minimum temperatures were 42.2 and 26.2 degrees Celsius respectively.
