Ghaziabad: BSP leader was murdered and his body found locked inside a car in Loni town here,
police said Friday.
Sachin Chaudhary (35), a Municipal Councillor, was found
dead inside a car last night and his body bore bullet wounds,
Superintendent of Police (City) J K Shahi said.
Two used bullets of .32 bore were also recovered from the
vehicle, he said.
According to the deceased's family, he received a phone
call around 7 PM after which he left his house to meet
someone. Around 9 PM, the police received information that a
body was lying inside a car, the SP said.
He said it appears that Chaudhary was shot dead due to a
rivalry and details would be disclosed after investigation.
The body has been sent for post mortem, he added.
