New Delhi: A B.Tech student allegedly
committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan at his home in
Mayur Vihar in east Delhi today, police said.
Harsh Ratan, who is pursuing the course from Jamia Milia
Islamia, was found hanging by his father Jagbhan, a retired
government employee, at his room in Samachar Apartments,
police said.
Jagbhan broke into the room after he did not get any
response from his son.
Police said no suicide note was recovered.
"We will conduct post-mortem of the deceased tomorrow," a
police official said.
