B.Tech student found murdered in hostel room

Faridabad: A final year engineering student was on Monday found murdered in a hostel room here.

Angry over the incident, students of the college held demonstrations and blocked the National Highway 2.

The student, Akaash, was living as a paying guest in Sector-8 area of Faridabad, and on Sunday night he went to meet his friend in the hostel and stayed for the night, police said.

Last morning his body was found in a pool of blood.

The victim`s body was sent for post mortem to a hospital.
