New Delhi: Several roads in central Delhi
will be closed for a few hours on Sunday due to the Mawana
Sugars Indian Open Marathon, the traffic police said on Friday.
No traffic will be allowed to move on route of the
marathon event from all its adjoining intersection/points,
they said.
Roads like Rajpath from India Gate upto Vijay Chowk,
Rafi Marg from Sunehri Masjid upto Sansad Marg, Parliament
Street, Ashoka Road, Janpath from Maulana Azad Road crossing
upto Rajinder Prasad Road and Janpath from Tolstoy Marg upto
Rajiv Chowk will be restricted for traffic from 7.15 am to
11.30 am.
Outer Circle Rajiv Chowk circle from Barakhamba to
Sansad Marg (clockwise), Inner Circle Rajiv Chowk, from Mandi
House to Barakhamba will be restricted for traffic.
