New Delhi:Congress leader Haroon Yusuf on Saturday asserted that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, whose name was displayed in the Chhatrasal stadium in an Independence Day parade instead of any other patriotic message, may be having some phobia.
"It is shocking that the Chief Minister of Delhi is using his name for publicity. Today is a day to teach about history of Indian independence and freedom fighters. On this day if Arvind Kejriwal is making some students hold placards with his name, I think he has some kind of phobia," Yusuf told ANI.
He also used this occasion to launch an attack on the AAP for lacking the sense of responsibility towards Delhi.
"Today I saw ads on the streets that claimed that there is no pit within 1260 km. After roaming since morning I found 2-4ft pits on the roads. In today`s date elders are struggling for the pensions. Electricity thieves were awarded by the government that their bills will be paid by the government," Yusuf pointed out.
"He (Kejriwal) should start thinking about Delhi seriously since Delhi people have given him a big mandate. He should have a sense of responsibility, but he lacks it," he added.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief drew netizens` ire after some students were seen holding placards with Kejriwal`s name instead of Jai Hind or any other patriotic message at Chhatrasal Stadium in the national capital.
