New Delhi: Delhi is likely to see clear skies Friday with the minimum temperature hovering two notches below average. The Met office said the mercury could shoot up to 43 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
"There will be mainly clear sky in the next 24 hours and the maximum temperature will settle at 43 degrees Celsius," the Met office said in its forecast.
The maximum temperature Thursday was 41.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year, while the relative humidity in the capital was 49 percent.
According to the met office, the minimum temperature recorded early Thursday was two notches above average at 28.7 degrees Celsius.
