New Delhi: Cold wave conditions abated
marginally in the national capital today with a slight
increase in temperature though overnight rains brought a chill
during the early morning hours.

However, the weatherman predicted a colder day tomorrow
with minimum plummeting to five degrees in the morning hours
which could be foggy.

The minimum temperature rose from yesterday`s 7 degree
Celsius to 8.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum was one degree
above normal.

The maximum rose by 1.3 degree Celsius to touch 16.2
degrees, which was still five degrees below normal.

The MeT office said the city received 4.6 mm rainfall
since last night.

Cold wave conditions will continue in the city for the
next couple of days due to icy winds blowing from the
snow-capped mountains in the northern parts of the country.
