Cold wave to continue in Delhi

The bone chilling cold wave is to continue for a few days, the weatherman said on Thursday though the minimum temperature saw a marginal rise in the national capital.



New Delhi: The bone chilling cold wave is to continue for a few days, the weatherman said on Thursday though the minimum temperature saw a marginal rise in the national capital.

The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 14 and 5 degrees Celsius Thursday.

The minimum temperature on Wednesday night was recorded at 5.6 degree Celsius, two notches below average. It was, however, marginally higher than Tuesday`s minimum of 4.2 degrees Celsius.
"Day temperature is likely to increase by two to three degree Celsius from Friday. The cold wave condition will continue," a met department official said.
