'Congress poised for impressive return in Delhi'

New Delhi: Congress on Sunday said it was poised for an impressive return in Delhi as BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have lost the faith and trust of the people.

DPCC President Arvinder Singh and Congress leader Haroon Yusuf alleged that the BJP and AAP were trying to remain politically relevant here through the help of hoardings and posters while meetings and rallies of both these parties were proving to be flop shows.

"The reverse count of the BJP and AAP had begun, and both the parties were heading toward their doom in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. The hold of Congress among the people has strengthened, and the party was poised for an impressive return in Delhi," a party statement quoting the leaders as saying while addressing 'Sankalp Rally' in Uttam Nagar assembly constituency said.

The leaders said the people of Delhi were once again looking at Congress as the development works in unauthorised colonies here have been stopped completely.

Chief spokesperson Mukesh Sharma also attended the rally.
