Constable shot at, critical in Delhi

A 27-year-old constable was shot at by unidentified assailants in outer Delhi's Narela area here late tonight.

New Delhi: A 27-year-old constable was shot at by unidentified assailants in outer Delhi's Narela area here late tonight.

Constable Jeetendra Khatri, was rushed to the Lok Nayak hospital where his condition is said to be critical.

Khatri is posted at the Civil Lines police station in North Delhi. The incident took place when he had returned to home in Narela, said a police official.

Hunt is on to nab the accused, the official added.
