Meerut: The murder case of a Delhi Police head constable in Meerut on Saturday took a new turn after his family filed an FIR against his two colleagues, who were with him when the incident happened.
The father of the head constable, Sanjeev who was shot dead on May 15 when some unidentified men had opened fire at them, today filed a complaint in Kankarkheda police station here, alleging that it was a case of murder conspired by constables Sachin and Vivek, SSP Satyanarayan said.
Earlier, police had termed the incident as a case of road rage.
Constable Sachin had also suffered bullet injuries in the incident and is undergoing treatment in a Meerut hospital. The incident was reported to the Delhi Police headquarters by Vivek, who was also with the duo.
The SSP said that action will be taken against the two constables following an investigation into the allegations.
