Councillor robbed in Outer

New Delhi: An MCD councillor was robbed
of his gold chain by three armed men in Outer Delhi this
morning, police said.

Ashwini Ahuja, the councillor, was robbed in Mahendra
Park locality when he was returning to his residence after
morning walk, they said.

"The three men armed with knives intercepted and
snatched his chain. When Ahuja raised alarm, they attacked
him," a senior police official said.

He suffered minor injuries on his hand.

A case has been registered and investigations are on
to nab him.
