New Delhi: A 34-year-old man, who preferred
180cc bikes while committing crime and wanted in at least 17
cases of murder and robbery, was arrested in the capital,
police said on Wednesday.
Ajay alias Jitender, the second-in-command of
notorious Joga who carries a reward of Rs 20,000 for his
arrest, was apprehended from Sultanpuri, Chhaya Sharma, Deputy
Commissioner of Police (Outer), said.
He was wanted in more than 17 cases of dacoity, robbery
and murder committed in Delhi, UP and Haryana.
"Ajay never discloses his hideouts to anyone and prefers
180 CC bikes for movements while proceeding to commit crime,"
He used to move on genuinely purchased motorcycle
wearing a full mask helmet so that if he would be stopped for
checking by police, he would produce his ID proof with
documents of motorcycle and would pass away easily.
"Most of the times, he never keeps any firearms with him
to avoid apprehension by police while going to commit crime.
"His gang members used to reconnaissance the posh
colonies on bikes and to find open houses located near parks
or corner kothis to identify a target and to commit dacoity,"
Ajay originally belongs to Muzaffarnagar in UP. In 1984,
he along with his family came to Delhi. He came in contact of
Joginder alias Joga in 1997 and formed their own gang and
started to commit crime and never turned back.
