Delhi BJP hoping Modi`s luck will rub on it

With municipal polls just round the corner, Delhi BJP has brought the `lucky rath` that was used by Modi to campaign for 2007 assembly polls.

New Delhi: With municipal polls just round
the corner, Delhi BJP has brought the `lucky rath` that was
used by Narendra Modi to campaign for the 2007 assembly polls
in Gujarat for a 15-day long `Jan Sangharsha` yatra here.

The yatra, to be led by Delhi BJP chief Vijendra Gupta,
will be flagged off by party president Nitin Gadkari on
Saturday in Burari village of West Delhi.

Gupta said the `yatra` has been organised to raise
awareness among people of Delhi about alleged corruption of
the city government.

"BJP has been in a constant struggle against this corrupt
government, and this Jan Sangharash Yatra will further
strengthen our demand for its removal. It`s time this
government should go," Delhi Pradesh President Vijendra Gupta
said.

Beginning from February 11 from Burari village in North
east Delhi, the yatra will be flagged off by BJP President
Nitin Gadkari. "We will be joined by various senior leaders of
the party through the 15 days," Gupta added. The yatra will
conclude in Chandni Chowk on February 25.

"Delhi government has fooled the people in the name of
Commonwealth Games and other policies. Delhi government and
the government at the centre have only minted money. The Delhi
Government is a highly corrupt government and time they should
face the law of the land," Gupta alleged.
