New Delhi: With the Election Commission announcing the schedule for Delhi assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah has called an emergency meeting of office bearers of party's state unit.

The meeting scheduled to be held at 8 pm today is expected to be a brainstorming session to finalise party's strategy for high-stakes political fight for Delhi.

In line with its current strategy, the BJP has not named anyone as the chief ministerial candidate in Delhi. Clearly, the party appears to be banking on the 'Modi wave' to see it through.

The biggest challenge faced by the BJP in its march to power is the resurgent Aam Aadmi Partuy led by Arvind Kejriwal.

Kejriwal is going all out to win back Delhi, ensuring that the BJP is not leaving nothing to chance.

Interestingly, most opinion polls have predicted a clear victory for the BJP but the same surveys have claimed that Kejriwal is the most preferred name as the next chief minister of the city state.
