Delhi government will soon launch a survey of the socio-economically vulnerable people to ensure that the benefits of various welfare schemes reach the intended beneficiaries, officials said here.

New Delhi: Delhi government will soon launch
a survey of the socio-economically vulnerable people to ensure
that the benefits of various welfare schemes reach the
intended beneficiaries, officials said here.
The decision to carry out the survey was taken at a
high-level meeting today attended by top officials of various
departments.

The survey will be conducted as part of government`s
Mission Convergence scheme, which aims to provide various
benefits to the poor people without any hassle, they said.
The government had already conducted one round of survey
of the people concerned in the city. Officials said the new
survey will be conducted to ensure the authenticity of the
earlier one done by certain NGOs.
