Taking the ongoing feud between the AAP Government and Najeeb Jung to a new level, the latter on Tuesday issued a circular to all departments and ministries clarifying that all files related to the government except for land, public order and police need not be sent to the Lieutenant Governor.

New Delhi: Taking the ongoing feud between the AAP Government and Najeeb Jung to a new level, the latter on Tuesday issued a circular to all departments and ministries clarifying that all files related to the government except for land, public order and police need not be sent to the Lieutenant Governor.

The Delhi law ministry also said that the government in Delhi meant the 'elected government of Delhi'.

The tussle between the Arvind Kerjiwal-led Delhi Government and Jung has been going since the time the former came to power.

Kerjiwal has accused Jung of following the directives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create obstacles for the Delhi Government and limit its powers.

Jung had later criticized Kejriwal for his 'inappropriate references' to Prime Minister.
