New Delhi: Delhiites will have to wait a few more days to enjoy monsoon showers. The capital is expected to receive light showers Friday but the day temperature will remain high, a weather official said.
The city Friday recorded a minimum of 27.7 degrees Celsius - normal for this time of the season.
"The sky will be partly clouded Friday with possibility of thundershowers in some parts of the city. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 39 degrees," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature Thursday was recorded at 38.9 degrees and the minimum at 30.1 degrees - both two notches above average.
