New Delhi: A school attendant was arrested in Delhi on Tuesday for sexually assaulting a six-year-old boy, police said.
The 55-year-old school attendant, identified as Ram Sahay Mahto, used to touch the boy inappropriately, said a police official.
The Class 1 student told his parents about the incident on Monday following which they reported the matter to the school authorities.
The school called the police control room and Mahto was arrested on Tuesday afternoon from Dwarka Mor area of west Delhi, official said, adding that he has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
