New Delhi: Delhi Police on Saturday arrested a man who had allegedly killed a puppy and injured four dogs in south Delhi.

The suspect has been identified as a Lucknow resident.

The incident happened in March this year when three dogs and a puppy was found lying in a pool of blood near the exit gate of Green Park metro station.

The area CCTV, which had captured the incident, showed the accused, dressed in jacket and shorts attacking and stabbing dogs one by one. After stabbing three dogs, he brutally thrashed another puppy before leaving the area.

A Delhi-based NGO had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for helping in identifying the accused.
