Delhi shame: Two more rape cases surface

As Delhiites continue to protests against the rape of a five-year-old girl, two fresh cases of sexual assault were reported from the national capital on Sunday.

New Delhi: As Delhiites continue to protests against the rape of a five-year-old girl, two fresh cases of sexual assault were reported from the national capital on Sunday.

A 15-year-old girl on Friday went with two youths and had beer with them at Samaypur village in North Delhi. Following this one of the youths raped her while she was drugged.

The police have arrested one of the youths. However, the person who raped the girl is absconding.

In another case, a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Bhalswa Dairy near Jahangir Puri.

The medical tests of the minor are yet to come. Meanwhile, the accused said to be in his fifties is in police custody.
