New Delhi: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit
on Wednesday met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during which the issue
of Lokpal Bill is understood to have figured.
When asked about the meeting, Dikshit refused to divulge
details of it.
Sources said the issue of Lokpal Bill figured in the
meeting.
The Chief Minister is also understood to have briefed
Singh about passage of a Bill in a special session of Delhi
Assembly paving way for trifurcation of the MCD ahead of
municipal polls, scheduled for April next year.
Dikshit is also believed to have sought the Prime
Minister's time for inauguration of the Bawana power plant
built at a cost of around Rs 4,000 crore.
