New Delhi: In another controversial statement, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday said that there would be water logging if the city witnesses rains.

Dikshit was speaking to reporters here.

The Chief Minister said that Delhites should learn to live with that instead of cribbing about a small issue.
Delhi received heavy rains for the nineth consecutive day on Wednesday, leaving several arterial roads water-logged and throwing traffic out of gear.

The rain gauges had measured only 0.6 mm between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, but after that the city received heavy showers, inconveniencing several office-goers heading back home in the evening.
The city received 26 mm rainfall till 8:30 am for a period of 24 hours, the MeT office said.
