New Delhi: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit will attend a three-day summit in Tokyo beginning Sunday which will deliberate on development of major Asian cities.
Dikshit will lead a three-member delegation to the summit
of Asian Network of Major cities (ANMC) which include Chief
Secretary Rakesh Mehta and Principal Secretary to the Chief
Minister P K Tripathi, officials said.
The chief minister will return to the city on November 11.
The summit will deliberate on various issues confronting
the cities like challenges in environment protection, urban
planning, tourism, women welfare health and disaster
prevention, the officials said.
