New Delhi: The Delhi Metro has made special arrangements for BJP leader Narendra Modi`s rally here Sunday, as an estimated 50,000 people would be using the facility to reach the venue, officials said.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) would be pressing into service extra trains and feeder buses, issuing return tickets and increasing the frequency of all trains going towards Rohini from the present five minutes to three minutes.
"Normally on Sundays, the Delhi Metro does not operate its full fleet due to fewer footfalls but tomorrow (Sunday) all the 26 trains on the Red Line would be running," said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijender Gupta after meeting DMRC managing director Mangu Singh.

"Confirming this, a DMRC official added: "We are taking all the necessary steps for crowd management."
