DU receives over 1.9 lakh applications till Wednesday

Delhi University received applications from over 1.9 lakh students for its four-year undergraduate programme till Wednesday, the ninth day of admission process for 54,000 seats in 61 colleges, an official statement said.

A total of 192,433 applications (both online and offline) have been received so far, the Delhi University statement said.
Online applications were a hit, with 104,666 students purchasing and making payments on the DU portal. The university received 87,767 offline application forms from 18 centres across Delhi.

The admission process began June 2 and will end June 16. The first cut-off list will be released June 24.
For bachelor of honours in management studies (BMS), 12,181 online payments have already been paid for 840 seats. The admission process for the BMS began June 7 and will end June 18.

Entrance test for the course offered by Faculty of Management Studies is scheduled for June 26.
