Gurgaon: Two people were killed and two others badly injured when a spat between a BPO worker and his team leader over a leave request led to a bloody scuffle on Saturday.
The clash at Serco Global Services, Udyog Vihar, took place when executive Sunil Kumar (25) asked his senior Mukesh Bisht for a leave on Sunday to celebrate his son`s birthday.
When Bisht rejected his request, the two got engaged in an argument. The men later came out of their office and, in a fit of anger, asked their friends to join.
When Bisht hit Sunil with a dagger, the latter`s friends, Ram Avtar and Devender, intervened and were injured in the process. Both succumbed to their injuries later.
Sunil, who is in ICU of a hospital in Gurgaon, is said to be in a critical condition.
