Hope CAG will file FIR on leakage of report: Sibal

HRD Minister Kapil Sibal asked the government auditor to file an FIR to find out who is responsible for it.

New Delhi: Expressing concern over "leak" of
the CAG report on Commonwealth Games (CWG), HRD Minister Kapil
Sibal on Thursday asked the government auditor to file an FIR to
find out who is responsible for it.

"The office of the CAG should be concerned about the
manner in which the reports have leaked and we do hope that
the CAG himself would file an FIR to make sure this kind of
leakage does not take place and find out who is responsible
for it," he told reporters here.

Sibal was interacting with reporters at a briefing by the
Group of Ministers on Media.

Asked for comments on the CAG report, Home Minister P
Chidambaram said he cannot speak on the report which is not
placed before Parliament yet.
