"A mainly clear sky is likely to become partly cloudy afternoon or evening onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.


The day`s minimum temperature settled one notch above the season`s average at 26.2 degrees Celsius.


Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 34 percent.

Delhi Thursday experienced the hottest May 1 after 2010 as the maximum temperature settled four notches above the season`s average at 42.8 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature settled one notch below the season`s average at 24.2 degrees Celsius.
