New Delhi: It was a sunny Thursday morning in the national capital, with the minimum temperature settling three notches above the season's average at 27.6 degrees Celsius.

The Met office has forecast a warm day with mainly clear sky becoming partly cloudy from noon onwards.

"The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 44 degrees Celsius," MeT department officials said.

Humidity at 8.30 AM was 29 per cent.

Yesterday, the mercury settled at 42.7 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 24.5 degrees Celsius.
