Hot, humid weather continues in Delhi

Hot and sultry weather continued to hold the national capital in its grip, with the mercury remaining above the 40-degree mark on Tuesday.

According to the MeT office, the maximum temperature was 41.7 deg C, one degree above normal for this part of the year. The minimum temperature also remained one notch above normal at 28.2 deg C.

Both the maximum and minimum temperatures saw slight deviation from the previous day`s readings. Yesterday, the day temperature stood at 40.3 deg C while the minimum temperature was 28.8 deg C.

The maximum and minimum humidity were recorded at 76 per cent and 31 per cent, respectively.

For tomorrow, the Weather office has predicted mainly clear sky which is expected to become partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 43 deg C and 29 deg C, respectively.
