Hot weather in Delhi; harsher days ahead

The maximum was three degrees below normal while the minimum was two degrees below normal for this time of the year. The past three days have been witnessing temperature above 40 degree Celsius.

New Delhi: A piercing sun took the charm out
of Delhiites` holiday on Sunday as mercury remained over 40 degree
Celsius for the third day while weatherman predicted a harsher
day tomorrow.

The maximum settled at 40.6 degree Celsius from
yesterday`s 41.1 degrees, the season`s highest so far, while
the minimum was recorded at 26.4 degrees, 1.5 degrees down
from the previous day.

The maximum was three degrees below normal while the
minimum was two degrees below normal for this time of the
year. The past three days have been witnessing temperature
above 40 degree Celsius.

The humidity was recorded between 24 and 55 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted that the temperature will
oscillate between 26 and 42 Celsius tomorrow.
