Jagdish Mukhi urges EC to take action against Kejriwal

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Jagdish Mukhi on Monday urged the Election Commission to take action against Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal for reportedly saying that people should take money from the Congress and the BJP but vote for his party.

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jagdish Mukhi on Monday urged the Election Commission (EC) to take action against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for reportedly saying that people should take money from the Congress and the BJP but vote for his party.

Mukhi said that such statements have brought Kejriwal down in the eyes of the public.

"This shows his small thinking, such kind of statements have brought him down in the eyes of the public. He claims that he is the only honest person around, this is funny. I am of this opinion that Election Commission should take immediate action against him on this statement," Mukhi told ANI.

"Arvind Kejriwal should know that people know who he actually is, blowing his own trumpet won't work," he added.

Kejriwal, while addressing a public gathering in West Delhi's Nawada area on Sunday, had reportedly asked voters to "fool" the BJP and Congress by voting for AAP even after accepting "bribe money" from them.
