New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday launched a scathing attack at Police Commissioner BS Bassi, accusing him of poorly handling the law and order situation.

Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal wrote, “Delhi Police openly flouting SC orders. Bassi acting so brazenly. What is source of his confidence? What instructions does he have from his bosses?”

Supreme Court on Wednesday asked Delhi Police counsel to speak to Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi about the security of Jawaharlal Nehru University Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar.

The court further stated that if Bassi cannot assure Kumar's security than the it will pass the order.
