New Delhi: Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung Saturday expressed hope that a stable government will be formed after the polls in the city which has been under President's Rule for last one year.
"I hope so," Jung said when asked whether Delhi would get a stable government after the polls.
Jung cast his vote at a booth in St Xavier's Senior Secondary School in Civil Lines in the Model Town constituency.
The Lt Governor also urged all the citizens to exercise their franchise.
"I request people to come out and vote heavily. I always hope that Delhi makes a record in polling in the country," he said.
A record 65.13 per cent people had voted in the 2013 Assembly polls.
Delhi has been under President's Rule since February last year after Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government quit.
