Intelligence agencies have alerted the Delhi Police over a possible terror attack using drones in the national capital by militant groups Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed, as per news reports on Tuesday.

New Delhi: Intelligence agencies have alerted the Delhi Police over a possible terror attack using drones in the national capital by militant groups Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed, as per news reports on Tuesday.

Agencies have reportedly asked the police to be on alert about likely aerial attacks using unmanned drones.

The Delhi Police is now monitoring all aerial aircraft flying in the national capital as a precautionary move.

They have also been asked to identify people who have bought and sold drones.

Security agencies have been on high alert following the release of 26/11 Mumbai attacks mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi from a Pakistani jail.

According to news reports, Lakhvi is staying is a safehouse near Lahore and is being guarded by Pakistan Army commandos.
