New Delhi: After days of sizzling heat, light
showers across the city today gave Delhiites some relief with
the day temperature dropping to the lowest in 11 years.
The maximum dropped to 33 degree Celsius during the day,
eight degrees below normal, which is a record low in the past
decade. Yesterday, the high was 38.2 degrees.
The night temperatures, however, showed a marginal
increase with the minimum recorded at 27.6 degree Celsius as
against yesterday`s 25.4 degrees.
The capital has been experiencing relatively better
weather in the past couple days as the day temperature was
below 40 degree Celsius. The night temperature also had shown
a decline after touching a 41-year-old record of 34.4 degrees
some days back.
The Weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions
for tomorrow, with rains in some places of the city and
temperature expected to be between 28 and 38 degree Celsius.
The humidity oscillated between 31 and 52 per cent.
