The AAP swept to power winning 67 out of 70 seats in February. The government completed 100 days on Monday.

A senior party leader said the government had fulfilled most of its promises and was dedicated to public welfare.

The public meeting came amid a row between the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and the city government over postings and transfers of bureaucrats.

A union home ministry notification issued on Friday had granted supremacy to Jung in matters pertaining to pubic order, police, land and services.

The AAP on Sunday described the central government's decision as "unconstitutional".
