MCD continues demolition drive in Delhi

New Delhi: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Friday continued its drive against unauthorised construction in the capital demolishing or sealing portions of 28 properties across the city.

Illegal portions in 28 properties falling in Rohini, South, Civil Lines and Sadar Paharganj Zones were sealed or demolished during the drive, an MCD spokesperson said.

In South Zone, six properties in Freedom Fighter Colony, Sangam Vihar and Yusuf Sarai were demolished while one in Gautam Nagae was sealed while 11 properties in Rohini Zone's Rani Bagh, Sector 6, 11 and 15 of Rohini, Sultanpuri and Vijay Vihar were demolished.

Five each properties were demolished in Sadar Paharganj and Civil Lines Zones. In Sadar Paharganj Zone, the properties were targeted in Kamla Nagar, Mahendru Enclave, Shakti Nagar, Kukundpur and Samaipur Badli while in Civil Lines, properties were targetted in Nabi Karim.

But, to my surprise, no action taken by the said officer and now it has come to my notice from some reliable sources that even the DC concerned of the Zone of MCD has received a hefty amount as bribe and that the said constructions thereon are being done as per will and wish of all the staff including the JE, AE, EE and DC. Needless to mention here that it is the duty of the Building department of the MCD to take action in such cases but no action taken. It is also learnt that the staff has mixed up with the builder mafia. It is also learnt that all the staffs of the presently posted MCD have amassed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income through corruption and bribe in such matters. The concerned Councillors of the MCD, who are the political leaders have also mixed up and getting their shares. If their cellular phones are kept on surveillances, every thing will come out.

What about 1 Lakh Illegal Floors & 1 Lakh Shops in Residential Shops in Residential Areas. Will DDA Seal these Properties?? What After Sealing ?? Will they Charge Bribe & Open the Seals. This Sealing is all Fake, Just a stunt to charge Bribe !!
