New Delhi: Delhi was warmer by a notch Saturday, a day after Diwali was celebrated.

The day began on a misty note with a thin layer of fog. However, the minimum temperature was 15.5 degrees Celsius -- a notch above average for this time of the year.

Similarly, the maximum temperature was a degree above average at 30.5 degrees.

"While the skies cleared during the day after a slightly foggy morning, the evening will be nippy. Tomorrow (Sunday) again, the morning will see a thin layer of fog," an India Meteorological Department official said.

The humidity level fluctuated between a high of 96 percent and a low of 48 percent.
